Portugal supports EL PAcCTO’s work to strengthen the fight against organised crime


EL PAcCTO met with Portuguese authorities who showed their commitment to the objectives of the Programme. Portugal will assume the presidency of the European Union in 2021.

 

Assistance to create a specialised unit to protect cultural assets in Panama


Europe, through the EL PAcCTO programme, intends to collaborate with Panama in the fight against trafficking in cultural assets.

 

 

Cooperation between justice institutions against crime


During September, the EL PAcCTO Justice team undertook several virtual activities to strengthen institutions in their fight against organised crime.

 

Brazil, Colombia and Mexico together with EL PAcCTO examine how to support indigenous communities which have been victims of organised crime


Within the framework of the fight against international criminal groups, EL PAcCTO is working to analyse the impact organised crime has on indigenous communities.
